Muy buen Lunes a toda la comunidad de Hive, desde Buenos Aires les escribo para contarles como hacer este "caramelo guardador" que yo uso para guardar las bolsas plásticas que utilizamos a diario, pero se me ocurren muchos otros usos: guardar repasadores, medias, pañuelos.... y mi mente vuela....
As always, those who follow me know that I like to use the scraps that I accumulate. In this case I found that striped fabric with bright colors and it occurred to me to give it a caramel shape, but so that everything is not so garish, I combined it with a bit of brodery that it had.
Como siempre, las que me siguen saben que me gusta utilizar los retazos que voy acumulando. En este caso encontré esa tela rayada con colores brillantes y se me ocurrió darle forma de caramelo, pero para que no sea tan chillón todo, lo combiné con un poco de brodery que tenía.
We start with a rectangle of fabric of the desired size (this fabric was 45cm x 30cm) to which we seam at both narrower ends to then pass an elastic inside and make the effect of twisting the candy (this is one of the last steps, now do not put the elastic ).
Partimos de un rectángulo de tela de la medida deseada (esta tela era de 45 cm x 30 cm) al que le hacemos en ambos extremos mas estrechos una costura para pasar luego un elástico por dentro y hacer el efecto de retorcido del caramelo (este es uno de los últimos pasos, ahora no ponen el elástico).
Then, at the ends, I sewed the brodery (it could be the same striped fabric or any other as well) always leaving room for the elastic to pass through and finally I joined the entire side, that is, there was an open tube at the 2 ends.
Luego, el los extremos cosí el brodery (podría ser la misma tela rayada o cualquier otra también) siempre dejando lugar para que pase el elástico y finalmente uní todo el lateral, o sea quedó un tubo abierto en los 2 extremos.
Finally I passed an elastic on each end and I taped a ribbon on the top to be able to hang it.
I take the bags from the bottom of the candy, and the new ones, I keep them in the same place ... but for example if they put it in a low place, they can do the same above .....
Por último pasé un elástico en cada punta y le cocí una cinta sobre la parte de arriba para poder colgarlo.
Voy tomando las bolsas de la parte de abajo del caramelo, y las nuevas, las guardo por el mismo lugar.... pero por ejemplo si lo ponen en un lugar bajo, pueden hacer lo mismo de arriba.....
I think it can be applied to many things, I think of baby diapers if they use a suitable fabric ... ufff, it makes me want to make another one!
