Hola amigos estoy muy contenta con este concurso ya que me brinda la oportunidad de presentarles algo referente a una de las cosas que más me gusta, la cual es coser.
Hello friends, I am very happy with this contest since it gives me the opportunity to present you something related to one of the things that I like the most, which is sewing.
Hace unos días salí de compras, y de casualidad me topé con estas lindas pantuflas en tan solo 1$, y pues, claro que me las tuve que comprar.
Pero al llegar a la casa me di cuenta de que en realidad no eran para caminar por la casa (eso me pasa por no cerciorarme de mis compras) resultaron ser pantuflas térmicas (para dormir o simplemente relajar los pies) pero yo quería unas pantuflas normales y en realidad estas me resultaron muy incomodas.
Decidí repararlas a mi gusto, ya que gracias a mi mama todos en casa sabemos coser, incluso mis hijas de 11 y 9 años ya están aprendiendo.
A few days ago I went shopping, and by chance I came across these beautiful slippers for only $ 1, and well, of course I had to buy them.
But when I got home I realized that they weren't really for walking around the house (that happens to me because I don't make sure of my purchases) they turned out to be thermal slippers (to sleep or just relax my feet) but I wanted normal slippers and actually these were very uncomfortable for me.
I decided to repair them to my liking, since thanks to my mother we all know how to sew at home, even my 11 and 9-year-old daughters are already learning.

Puse manos a la obra y me armé con una hojilla y de verdad les digo que imagine todo tipo de relleno menos Semillas de Lino.
I got down to work and armed myself with a blade and I really tell them to imagine all kinds of filling except Flax Seeds.
Siguiendo con el proyecto, solté los hilos que sostenían la suela de la pantufla, y la desarmé.
Continuing with the project, I released the threads that held the sole of the slipper, and took it apart.
Tome un trozo de esponja que tengo guardado desde hace tiempo y lo recorte con la forma de la suela de la pantufla.

Hice un sándwich con las dos piezas de la base de la pantufla y comencé a coser.
I made a sandwich with the two base pieces of the slipper and started sewing.
Al tener las dos suelas rellenas de la esponja procedí a armar las pantuflas (si mi mama viera esas orillas ya me hubiese dicho: Obra limpia hija, obra limpia)
Having both soles filled with the sponge, I proceeded to assemble the slippers (if my mother saw those edges she would have already told me: Clean work daughter, clean work)
Trabajo Terminado./Completed work.
Ya terminadas solo hay que voltearlas y listo, pantuflas terminadas.
Once finished, you just have to turn them over and voila, finished slippers.

Tienen muchos usos en cuanto a la salud se refiere, pero en esta ocasión yo la usare para hacer un fijador para el cabello.

Coloqué un puñado de semillas en una taza de agua y lo dejé hervir.

Apagué la cocina, lo pase por el colador de jugos y conseguí un envase para guardarlo, pero claro no sin antes usar un poco en mi cabello.
I turned off the kitchen, ran it through the juice strainer, and got a container to store it, but of course not without first using some on my hair.
