Hoy les quiero compartir una transformación, muy sencilla que hice, reciclando un cinturón muy viejo que tenia guardado en el closet. Y al revisarlo vi que se encontraba en buen estado y se me ocurrió por lo suave del tejido, hacer una diadema o banda para el cabello.
Today I want to share with you a very simple transformation that I did, recycling a very old belt that I had kept in the closet. And when I checked it, I saw that it was in good condition and it occurred to me because of the softness of the fabric, to make a headband or hair band.
Pensando conque adornarla, dedici hacer unas flores de jeans. Y aprovechando que tenia unas cuantas tiras, empece a elaborar varias flores y haber cuantas les colocaba.
Les cuento que utilice y como la hice.
I tell you what I used and how I made it.
Materiales:
Un cinturón tejido viejo, tijera, hilo, agujas , tiras de tela de jeans y perlas de bisuterías.
Materials:
An old woven belt, scissors, thread, needles, strips of jeans, and jewelry beads.
Paso a Paso:
Step by Step:
Empece marcando los petalos de la flor en las tiras. Las corte y empece a coser por la parte recta de la tira y una vez llegado a la otra punta hale el hilo para formar la flor y cosí.
Start by marking the flower petals on the strips. I cut them and began to sew on the straight part of the strip and once I reached the other end, I pulled the thread to form the flower and sewed.
Luego procedí a descoser los cierres del cinturón . Una vez listo,
uní las dos partes y cosí.
Then I proceeded to undo the belt buckles. Once ready, I joined the two parts and sewed.
Por ultimo, decidí colocarle tres de las flores que hice junto con una perla en cada una de las flores.
Finally, I decided to place three of the flowers that I made together with a pearl in each of the flowers.
¡Y así quedo mi diadema, reciclando un cinturón viejo!.
And so I have my headband, recycling an old belt!.
