Hello dear community lover of threads and needles, I wish you a happy and blessed beginning of the week, more than half of January has already passed, the days go fast; time moves forward and so do the sewing projects that were pending from last year, I set as a goal to finish my pending projects at the end of the month; as I mentioned in a previous publication for health reasons I had almost a year without sewing, thank God in August I gradually resumed sewing and I was able to finish several projects that were left with the cut pieces and start others, personally I like to take my time to cut and measure, except for emergencies, I can spend the day cutting the pieces of different projects, then I keep them in bags with their respective identification and so I can sew without pausing to cut a certain piece, this has helped me to save time while sewing and has worked for me to advance in my projects; today I share with you the flannel of a set that I sewed for my son, this consists of flannel and jogger, the jogger lacks the elastic and I hope to finish it in the course of the week; while I continue to advance what I can to achieve my goal.
Hola estimada comunidad amante de los hilos y las agujas, les deseo un feliz y bendecido inicio de semana, ya ha transcurrido más de la mitad del mes de enero los días van rápido; el tiempo avanza y los proyectos de costura que quedaron pendiente del año pasado también, me propuse como meta terminar mis proyectos pendientes a final de mes; he logrado avanzar en muchos de ellos principalmente los de mi hijo, como mencioné en una publicación anterior por motivos de salud tuve casi un año sin coser, gracias a Dios en agosto retomé paulatinamente la costura y pude concluir varios proyectos que quedaron con las piezas cortadas e iniciar otros, en lo personal me gusta tomar mi tiempo para cortar y medir, salvo alguna emergencia, puedo pasar el día cortando las piezas de diferentes proyectos, luego las guardo en bolsas con su respectiva identificación y así puedo coser sin estar haciendo pausas para cortar determinada pieza, esto me ha ayudado a ganar tiempo mientras coso y me ha funcionado para avanzar en mis proyectos; hoy les comparto la franela de un conjunto que cosí para mi hijo, este consta de franela y jogger, al jogger le falta el elástico y espero terminarlo en el transcurso de la semana; mientras sigo adelantando lo que pueda para lograr mi meta.

Sewing this flannel took me less time than I expected and this makes me very happy, because I am taking my sewing rhythm again, yes, I rest a little and continue with the project, when I start a job I don't stop until I finish, but for health reasons and to take care of my spine I must do it, it has not been easy because I don't want to pause, but it is fair and necessary to do it for my well being.
Coser esta franela me tomó menos tiempo del que esperaba y esto me hace muy feliz, porque estoy tomando nuevamente mi ritmo de costura, eso si, descanso un poco y continuo con el proyecto, cuando inicio un trabajo no paro hasta terminar, pero por motivos de salud y cuidar mi columna debo hacerlo, no ha sido fácil porque no quisiera hacer pausas, pero es justo y necesario hacerlo por mi bienestar.
