Happy Tuesday #NeedleWorkMonday community, I hope you are well with family and friends. Monday came the day to share our sewing projects in this beautiful community and I could not do it because of various occupations.
Today I want to show you a #tutorial to make an individual with cutlery holder, a nice detail to decorate our dining table and give it a different style.
The fabrics used were Dacron and Jean.

Feliz martes comunidad #NeedleWorkMonday, espero se encuentren bien en unión de familiares y amigos. LLegó el lunes el día de compartir nuestros proyectos de costura en esta hermosa comunidad y no pude hacerlo por diversas ocupaciones.
Hoy quiero mostrarles un #tutorial para elaborar un individual con porta cubiertos, un lindo detalle para decorar nuestra mesa de comedor y darle un estilo diferente.
Las telas usadas fueron Dacrón y Jean.

PROCEDURE
I cut three rectangles in dacron for the front of the single and one in denim for the bottom.

PROCEDIMIENTO
Corté tres rectángulos en dacrón para la parte delantera del individual y uno en jean para la parte de abajo.

I pinned the orange and sunflower rectangles and sewed with a straight stitch.

Sujeté con alfileres los rectángulos naranja y el de flores de girasol y cosí con puntada recta.

I folded the green fabric and sewed leaving an opening, then flipped.

Doblé la tela verde y cosí dejando una abertura, luego volteé.

I pinned the pocket (green fabric) and stitched through the opening.

Sujeté con alfileres el bolsillo (tela verde) y pasé costura por donde quedó la abertura.

I brought the pocket up so that the previous seam is covered and stitched along the contour leaving the top unsewn.

Llevé el bolsillo hacía arriba de modo que la costura anterior quedará cubierta y cosí por el contorno dejando la parte de arriba sin coser.

I faced the dacron and jean fabrics right sides together, pinned and stitched leaving an opening to turn the piece over.

Enfrenté las telas de dacrón y de jean por el lado derecho, las sujeté con alfileres y las cosí dejando una abertura para dar vuelta la pieza.

Finally I glued the bias binding all the way around, starting at the opening and finished! a beautiful individual to decorate and personalize our dining tables and make mealtimes with the family a pleasant and colorful moment.
