Have a beautiful home and comfortable is the dream of all people, including me.
Since a year after moving from my parents house, my husband and I are trying to make our new house look modern and comfortable.
A lot of people think that having a beautiful home will certainly require a high bugdet. Especially the pandemic era is making us have to try hard to minimize the spending money because it is very difficult to get income, which we difficult to move freely to create even very difficult to get a job because of the need to adjust the protocol of health.
This time my job as a tailor curtains very hard to get orders because a lot of people who prefer money used to be saved rather than having to replace the curtains of the home. For that's a lot of fabric left at home and I take advantage of to create a masterpiece. One of them make a pillowcase sofa and tablecloth/ table runner.
Sofa pillowcase that I will make is with the size varying with the sofa pillowcase that I have, measuring 40cm x 40cm. The sofa pillowcase comes with a japan zipper to make it more beautiful.
While for tablecloth/ table runner will I make has a size of 40cm x 100cm and there are small toys (pom pom) at the ends. Made of wool fabric to embroider the fabric.

Materials needed:
- Fabric is cut to size 42 cm x 82 cm (pillow case sofa) and a size 42 cm x 102 cm (tablecloths)
- Cloth wool
- Japan Zipper 20 inch
- Thread
- Sewing Meters
- Pencil
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
How To Make Sofa Pillowcase
- Prepare the fabric with the size of the specified
- Sewing a zipper at the end of the field 42 cm on both sides
- Then sewing the edge of both sides of the crease, from the tip to zip. Don't forget to turn the seam so that the thread is not easy to decompose / regardless
- Sofa pillow case is ready to use
Make Tablecloth or Table Runner
- To make the pompoms, Take yarn of wool, then wrap the hands for forming a yarn with the same distance, tie on the end of the yarn wool that has already been formed, and cut using scissors on the other end. And a knot on the side of 1 cm from the rope hanger.
- Prepare fabric to the size that has been determined as 2 pieces
- Cut beveled on the end to form the elbow.
- Sewing pom poms on the end of the fabric with the provisions of, the pom pom is at the basis of the fabric. Sewing fabric on all sides with a distance of stitching the edge of 1cm. Leave 10cm to be able to flip the fabric. Once reversed, turn off the seams on the sides are not stitched.
- Table runner ready to use
This table runner can be used for the size of the table with a width of 60cm x 80cm. Fit for the house with modern minimalist.
