[ENG/ESP] Ice Cream Cone Amigurumi./Amigurumi Cono de Helado.

How nice to greet you, dear Needleworkmonday family and wish you a happy needlework Monday. The passion for knitting is growing. It's amazing to see the boom that crochet is today. Some years ago crochet was in trend and I remember it because of my aunt Maigualida in her needlework, with whom I learned my first crochet stitches; rugs and tablecloths were the most predominant in this technique, but today we see all kinds of garments, accessories, bags, toys and stop counting and it is difficult to ignore the unfathomable variety of beautiful creative items and not want to put crochet in hand to shape a new piece.

Que lindo poder saludarles, estimada familia de Needleworkmonday y desearles un feliz lunes de aguja. La pasión por el tejido aumenta. Es increíble ver el boom que es el crochet hoy día. Hace algunos años el crochet estuvo en tendencia y lo recuerdo por mi tía Maigualida en sus labores de aguja, con quién aprendí mis primeros puntos de crochet; los tapetes y manteles era lo que más predominaba en ésta técnica, pero hoy día vemos todo tipo de prendas de vestir, accesorios, bolsos, juguetes y pare de contar y es difícil ignorar la insondable variedad de bellos artículos creativos y no querer ponerse ganchillo en mano para dar forma a una nueva pieza.

This time I share with you this creative process. It is an ice cream cone with a touch of whimsy by turning it into a little mouse with big ears.

En esta ocasión les comparto este proceso creativo. Se trata de un cono de helado con un toque de fantasía al convertirlo en una ratoncita de grandes orejas.

I was under the impression that this type of amigurumis was made in two pieces, but once I started knitting I realized that it wasn't necessary, as I would just change the color of the yarn and continue until I ended up with a point.

Tenía la impresión de que éste tipo de amigurumis se hacía en dos piezas, pero una vez que empecé a tejer me di cuenta de que no era necesario, pues pondría solo cambiar el color del hilo y continuar hasta terminar en punta.

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I started from the semi-round part with a magic ring of six loops in increments multiples of six until I reached 30 low stitches. Then five rows to give height and change from lilac to beige to make the cone.

Como les mencioné en el párrafo anterior, empecé desde la parte semi redondo con un anillo mágico de seis vueltas en aumentos múltiplos de seis hasta llegar a 30 puntos bajos. Luego cinco vueltas para dar altura y cambio de color lila a color beige para hacer el cono.

The first three rounds are the beige color and then a decrease every four stitches to 24 stitches. From there, make 3 rows of 24 single crochet stitches and make decreases every 3 stitches to get 18 stitches and then make three rows with 18 single crochets. So on and so forth until you have 6 stitches. Place the filling and close.

Las tres primeras vueltas son el color beige y luego una disminución cada cuatro puntos para quedar en 24 puntos. De allí se realizan 3 vueltas de 24 puntos bajos y se realizan las disminuciones cada 3 puntos para quedar en 18 puntos y se realizan tres vueltas con 18 puntos bajos. Así sucesivamente hasta llegar a tener 6 puntos. Se coloca el relleno y se cierra.

The arms are knitted starting with 8 single crochet stitches in a magic ring for 8 rows. The ears in 6 stitches in a magic ring, then one row with increases to 12 single crochet stitches, but in the third row the increases are made only in half of the circumference, thus forming a small flight that is the top of the ear.

Aparte tejemos los brazos que se empieza con 8 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico por 8 vueltas. Las orejas en 6 puntos en un anillo mágico, luego una vuelta con aumentos a 12 puntos bajos, pero en la tercera vuelta se realizan los aumentos solo en la mitad de la circunferencia, así se forma un pequeño vuelo que es la parte superior de la oreja.

The last details of the face like eyes, snout and a cherry on the topping. This ice cream cone will serve me as a keychain or as a pendant for a purse. I am thinking about it, since I am working on a purse for my daughter with pink, white and beige colors and this accessory would look great, but I have not decided yet because I have several ideas for the decoration of the purse. Lo estoy pensando, ya que estoy trabajando en un bolso para mí hija con colores rosa, blanco y beige y este accesorios le quedaría muy bien, pero aún no lo decido pues tengo varias ideas para la decoración del bolso Gracias por leer.
