Pues hoy te enseño cómo hacer un short desde otro pantalón, para que mejores tus técnicas de costuras y luzcas tu prenda personalizada, ve por tu tela, alfiler, aguja, molde, hilo y tijeras.
Hello hivers, sewing lovers and other creatives, as you know every Monday the post corresponds to the wonderful community of @needleworkmonday, where we share projects related to needles and threads. Well today I show you how to make a short from another pair of pants, so you can improve your sewing techniques and wear your custom garment, get your fabric, pin, needle, mold, thread and scissors.
Yo use lycra para este short, ten en cuenta la elasticidad de tu tela para cuidar las medidas y el margen de la costura, ahora manos a la tela; el molde o pantalón patrón posalo en tu tela, afirma con alfileres y corta dejando el 0.5 cm o 1 cm para el margen de costura. Este short solo tiene costura por la parte interna de las piernas, en los laterales hacia afuera no lleva, eso es porque corte solo 2 piezas (delantera y trasera) con la tela doblada sin cortar el doblez.
I used lycra for this short, take into account the elasticity of your fabric to take care of the measurements and the seam allowance, now hands to the fabric; the mold or pattern pant pose it on your fabric, affirm with pins and cut leaving the 0.5 cm or 1 cm for the seam allowance. This shorts only has seams on the inside of the legs, on the sides towards the outside there are no seams, that's because I cut only 2 pieces (front and back) with the fabric folded without cutting the fold.
Bueno, ahora procedemos coser las partes, primero los laterales y luego la parte baja de las piernas, como indica la foto. Luego, vamos a los ruedos, tanto superior como inferior, en la pretina deja un espacio o abre unos ojales en el centro para pasar la trenza de ajuste (para saber como se hace chequea mis posts anteriores). A los lados puedes decorarlos como gustes y listo tu short para lucir donde y como quieras.
Well, now we proceed to sew the parts, first the sides and then the lower part of the legs, as indicated in the photo. Then, we go to the hems, both top and bottom, in the waistband, leave a space or open some eyelets in the middle to pass the adjustment braid (to know how to do it check my previous posts). On the sides you can decorate them as you like and your shorts are ready to wear wherever and however you want.
