Hago resaltar la valiosa colaboración prestada por mi bella nieta @chrisscoronado y su pretendiente (que no se ve en las fotos por ser el camarógrafo oficial jajaja).
Sin más dilación, aquí se lo presento.
Materiales utilizados:
- Material sintético (semicuero) 15 metros.
- 2 láminas de esponja 100x200x2,5 centímetros.
- 2 cajas de grapas.
- Tela para forro (reciclé la vieja tapicería).
- Grapadora de madera.
- Hilo de tapicería.
- Regla.
- Tijera.
- Máquina de coser.

Today I brought to share with you, in a very brief and concise way, the process I followed to change the upholstery to the furniture of a receipt set, and thus give them a new life with a touch of modernity and elegance.

Materials I used:
- Synthetic material (semi leather) 15 meters.
- 2 sheets of sponge 100x200x2,5 centimeters.
- 2 boxes of staples.
- Lining fabric (I recycled old upholstery).
- Wood stapler.
- Upholstery thread.
- Ruler.
- Scissors.
- Sewing machine.
Proceso de restauración ||Restoration process
La restauración la iniciamos quitando completamente de los muebles la tapicería deteriorada.
We start the restoration by completely removing the deteriorated upholstery from the furniture.
Las piezas quitadas las utilicé como patrones para realizar las nuevas piezas.
I used the removed pieces as patterns to make the new pieces.
Cambié la esponja deteriorada por la nueva.
I replaced the deteriorated sponge with the new one.
Hice una modificación en la parte frontal del posabrazos para sustiituir una pieza de madera ddeteriorada.
I made a modification in the front part of the armrest to replace a deteriorated piece of wood.
Armé las piezas nuevas de material sintético en la máquina de coser.
I assembled the new pieces of synthetic material on the sewing machine.
Con las piezas armadas y los muebles con sus arreglos ya hechos, procedimos a colocarlas y adaptarlas a su forma, se podría decir que vestimos el mueble paso a paso hasta tenerlos terminados.
With the pieces assembled and the furniture with their arrangements already made, we proceeded to place them and adapt them to their shape, you could say that we dressed the furniture step by step until they were finished.
Este proceso lo hicimos en el orden inverso a la desvestida.
En las fotografías se puede apreciar la transformación y el desarrollo del proceso, fue un trabajo arduo que nos llevó muchas horas pero gracias a Dios nos llenó de satisfacción por el producto final.

Debo animarles a que lo intenten en sus casas, pues teniendo las telas originales, es sencillo sacar los patrones, pero lo que lleva tiempo es la parte de volver a armar, no porque sea muye difícil (aunque claro que hay que ser cuidadoso), sino sobre todo por cuadrar y grapar cada pieza.
