Sunny day at Beli Iskar Eco Trail

Hi there Hive Family,

Today I would like to take you on a small tour in Rila mountain where this amazing eco trail takes place. It is a water paradise and a must go for cold dips and bare foot strolls.

Basically the place is arranged in 8 bridges. Each bridge connecting the forest and the river with the road. So a connection between nature and human interaction.

I did not like that there was a built road, but nevertheless I cannot argue that this is perfect for any person. Whenever you get tired, you just pass the bridge and go to your car via the road.

And so we started. The first bridge is called The Blue Pool. There was also a sign for blind people. They could read that too.

The bridge itself is not a very long one. All of them are very similar.

The first of many places to take a dip. The water is crystal clean and very cold.

Some of the parts were a little dried up.

It is late August so it is normal for the river not to be at its peak.

We are half way there. Bridge №4.

Passing through.

View from the bridge.

I loved how those rock pyramids. Magical place to be at.

Just a casual picture 😎 We will soon go for a dip.

And another one. I just love those rocks.

It is like a whirlpool from above. Pure nature.

View from Bridge №5.

Finally, time for a break and some cold water dipping.

Feeling great.

Time for some bare foot hiking.

No shoes.

Bare foot walking. Need to watch out for those cones.

Precious views.

Bare foot walking continues.

Nature at its finest.

We still have a bit more to go. Our final destination is the shelter.

Walking in the wild.

And we are back to the riverbed.

Penultimate bridge. We are almost there.

Finally! We are at the end. Time for a break and we will go back. The route will be a circle one. We will pass through some new places on our way back.

We will revisit all of the bridges once again on our way down.

There is a panoramic sighseeing point. Pretty cool. We took a couple photos over there with the tall trees.

Since we climbed a bit, we had to descend. It was very interesting to see how the fallen trees were preserved and the stairs were built not touching the surrounding nature. Amazing view.

Last dips before going back home.

We had to use some skills to pass the stream since we refused to cross some of the bridges and go to the road.

And this marks the end of our incredible adventure.

As always, thank you for visiting my blog. Have an amazing day!

Stay happy, be peaceful!

Namaste
