Dog here we call her passion flower.
She appeared on my way to work about three years ago, I had never seen her in person only in photographs before.
I made some entry of it some time ago, I suppose that around this time since it is when it blooms.
Do your research and the name says it is for the passion of Jesus Christ, but I suppose other religions will say other things.
It is a climbing plant with its tendrils, it grabs and fixes anywhere, as you can see here.
In two days it has been filled with flowers, flowers that last very little but are full of strange beauty.
With its green leaves that are the leaves of the cocoon that is born erect and delicate, the light almost passes through them.
Little by little it opens and reveals all its colors.
Its quills of an intense purple blue two crowns like a porcupine.
Then a long green neck comes out and from there the antennae come out (I know it has a name-, the same thorns as the neck and the horns haha)
Androginophore, bract, sepal, petal, operculum, antenna, filament, stigma, style.
Those are the proper names for all the parts of the flower.
I like to use my imagination and think that it is a plant from another world, where its antennas can transmit waves that reach another universe.
But it is not an earth plant with healing properties, such as relaxing and helping to fall asleep.
Also when the fruit is ripe, the passion fruit drink is made, a dense sweet and very summery.
I have tried to take her a little longer, taking creative photos of her, just her and her beauty.
