What would you do with 100 feet? 🐛 ¿Qué harías tú con 100 pies?

I've been a while without posting about the amazing nature around me, but last night I was startled by a close encounter with a centipede.

An amazing encounter

It was about 9 pm and everything was extremely dark, not only because it was night but because the power was out and I wanted to take a walk around the yard with my cell phone and that's when I lost my breath when I encountered a giant-sized insect and I'm not exaggerating.

I've known centipedes since I was little, I always thought their size was small maybe 5 centimeters, but last night was about 25 centimeters. I guess it felt safe in the dark and went out to look for food or go home.

I started to take pictures of it, but it was reckless of me because I saw how it was bothering it, so I took a few pictures and left it alone, it looked like a snake, to corroborate this information I did a little research on this animal which I will share with you below

Death can crawl

It is incredible what this animal does to its victims it possesses the Ssm Spooky toxin that blocks the cellular system producing spasms and convulsions killing its victims that usually are mice, snakes, spiders, worms, worms snails in less than 30 seconds and the most amazing thing is that they can also kill a human.

Their scientific name is chilopods or Chilopoda and they are known as fossil chilopods from the late Silurian, about 418 million years ago, they look like dinosaurs, their reproductive cycle is quite curious because in them there is no copulation.

The male deposits a spermatophore that is like a spermatozoon in a capsule for the female to pick it up and take care of it until it is born, after earning that privilege by dancing to the female as a nuptial dance in some species, in others, they simply leave it and at some point, the female will pick them up. They can live up to 6 years.

Unos pies bien afilados 😊
