Flowery Thoughts

Flowers have always had the power to enchant, calm fill the mind with feelings of happiness and love. For me there is nothing like stepping into my garden and taking a fill of these amazing mood enhancers to make my day. The power of flowers to capture every sense sight, smell, taste etc. is amazing. When I was a little girl I would eat tamarind flowers, the tangy taste always had me begging for more. I love the peppery taste of nasturtium which I only recently discovered, roses have always been in our food for centuries.

Here are some flowers you may or may not have seem in macro. I just had fun doing this yesterday. Take a closer look when you see macro images it opens up a whole new world.

Can you see a little flower like thing on the stamen and the pollen all over the lower petals? That means a bee or some pollinator has visited this flower already.
