In the fall, while walking through the forest, I saw a squirrel tearing moss from the bottom of a tree and taking it somewhere up. This way she insulates her home.
She ran back and forth along the same route several times. I didn’t bother her, I waited until she took the moss upstairs again and left her some nuts.
And at the other end of the city there is a park, where squirrels live and are constantly fed by people who walk there. Brazen squirrels often beg for treats on their own and climb on people.
They have a completely different life, a satisfying one, they will always be fed here.
