Weird weather in the Cape of Storms.

So, do you think that there could be a mountain in the picture below?

Lately the weather seems to be playing games with us and I cannot imagine being in a small plane and flying through that cloud.
You will see in the photo below why I say this.
We had fine rain recently and at the same time floods occurred inland so the storm passed us by. This is not normal, as we always get hit by the storms before they travel inland.
It is still early and the winter rainy season has not started in full force yet, so we will wait and see what it brings.

Oh yes, there is indeed a big mountain in that cloud.

Tons of water stream down that valley during a storm. In the past, it used to flood our town below the mountain, but after the last flood they installed concrete channels to guide the water in the river to the ocean.

This is the river that I mentioned in the photo above, and during a storm it turns into a devastating water force.

It is the Hottentots Holland mountain range and we love to explore it.

There was the sign and in 2 days time we will have rain again.

Just a lovely late afternoon shot.

I focused on a flood theme today as there are so many other weaker parts in the country that are severely damaged by floods. Lives are lost and recently there was a terrible event in the KZN province, and people are still searching for bodies. Women and children were washed away by a mix of water and mud, and the survivors are desperately seeking for their families. So yes, Mother nature seems to be angry as there are also unknown occurrences by the weather in other countries.
I hope that you have liked the photos.

And That's All Friends.
