A new wonderland awaits and will start soon.
Here is a variety of photos that will hopefully please your eyes.
We have a level 4 warning for storm damage as an incoming cold front will land at 5am tomorrow morning. Not only cold, but also accompanied by snow. Over the past weeks we have had a series of gale force storms, but this is the one that we have been waiting for.
The thousands of apple trees here will clap their hands, as they need the snow to rest.
Now this is what I call a great owl box. Carved with a chainsaw and this is real art.
Soon this lovely waterfall will be totally frozen and I cannot wait to take the photos.
My favorite tree next to the road on our way to the mountains.
I love the lines between the 3 mountains.
We saw the attractive Swans Neck of the Agave plant (Agave attenuata) next to the road. So now we have Mexican flowers in South Africa.
But that's okay as "Troy" our chihuaua is also a mexican dog 🤣
The clouds were slowly building towards a crescendo of gigantic proportions.
All streaming in from the Atlantic ocean and tomorrow they say that the snow will start.
So, I hope to bring you some snow pictures tomorrow if the weather plays the game. We welcome the snow as the colder it gets the better the trees will sleep and that will result in excellent fruit crops in summer.
Sadly once again there will be floods and the ground is already saturated by the rain of the storms over the past two weeks.
We only hope and pray that no lives will be lost.
And That's All Friends!
