How not to keep your car clean.

We had several weeks of storms.

Look how muddy and wet this little squirrel was.

It was a series of coldfronts that rolled in bringing with it storms and the gift of rain. Now when I say rain, I mean serious rain that created floods and damages. The rain periods have become shorter and much more intense as the drops have doubled in size. Whereas before we had rain every day for a week, now we have more rain in only two days.
Strange weather.

This pool is the parking lot for cars and trucks that visit the public park.

Dark clouds flew over with clearances appearing in big open gaps between the clouds such as this one.

This was where the sun emerged from behind one of the clouds.

And this was the sun's reflection in the parking mud pool.

Finally it was time to go home and mother nature greeted us with her colors in the clouds.

Impossible to keep one's car clean on a trip like this. Both inside and outside of the car were a muddy mess on the body and the car's floor mats. But I am sure that you will agree that the photos were worth a drive through this lot.
The great news is that the council has now appointed a road contractor to lay a new road and they will also level and lay asphalt in the two parking spaces. They have started by bringing in the big machines and are busy there right now as I write this.
Soon it will be a pleasure to go and take photos there.

And That's All Friends!
