Early signs of our Spring season.

Come and take a short walk in our garden.

The succulents are joyfully jumping back to their colorful life after the cold and dreary winter.

I chose this as my first picture due to an encounter we had with a real frog this morning. You can see my previous post of the frog Here

Spring is always an exciting time here as flowers are covering the fields and the lower slopes of the mountains with beautiful colored carpets.

Here is a bit of a wider view of the first picture to show you the growing succulents.

This lovely little clump of flowers grows on a bush in the garden.

Oh and of course the garden's residents follow me around.

Another strange type of aloe or cactus here that grows under the guava tree.

Look at this and that plant is certainly beautiful.

Here is another little clump of flowers that are starting to show their colors.

One of the resident Robins was also keeping an eye on me.

This palm tree at our front door has never before had this large yellow cylindrical flower and we are trying to find out what it is.
It might have been pollinated for the first time, as we didn't see this long yellow flower on it last year.
Did you know that some palm trees can take 3 to 40 years before they bear the first fruits?

Finally the squirrels that live at the top of the palm tree were playing around the trunk of the tree.
One squirrel at the top left of the trunk and the other at the bottom right.

So yes, we really enjoy nature here and Spring brings with it a lot of fun and laughter. We hope to explore much wider across the province this spring and into summer, as there are many farms, mountains, lakes and small historic towns that we have not seen yet.
It cannot always be work only and the world will not stop if we take more breaks. So a new season with many adventures is also waiting for us.

And That's All Friends.
