A lovely walk in our paradise.

Spring season slowly turning into summer.

The citrus orchards are all sporting blossoms and amazing to see how they have trimmed the trees to grow into "V" shapes.

The "V" shapes makes it easier for the pickers to clear the trees once the fruits are ripe.
There are many ingenious farm systems to be seen over here and most of the farms are generational farms, meaning that they have been kept in the family names for generations. Some of the farms are also owned by big corporations.
The farms also use the latest technologies, such as computerized spraying systems and IT management.

I just had to show you another shot of the orchard backed by that big mountain.

Talking about mountains here's a close up from the road of the other mountain range here.

One of a wine farm restaurants here, huddled under a big old oak tree.
A very pleasant place to enjoy a meal and a glass of their famous wines, surrounded with the fresh mountain air that we breathe.

They call this our signal mountain and the shot is very easy on the eye, especially with the lines of trees that act as wind breakers around the farming lands.

A landscape shot of the mountain range that surrounds our area and that ends in the sea.

Come and see how the wind was playing with this fountain in a pond.

The wind cutting the spray into all types of shapes.

Finally just to show you some new wine grapes here.

Always a pleasure to be out here and you can see why we enjoy it so much. Things are neat and orderly and totally safe for visitors to walk around filling their lungs with the fresh mountain air.
Listening to the choruses of bird song lures one into a totally different world. A world as it should be, but sadly we are slowly destroying it with concrete jungles where no one is safe.
But such is life methinks.

And That's All Friends!
