Buenas noches amigos Hivers, espero estén todos de maravillas! Por aquí verán que con mi amiga @anto012 estamos muy relajadas, pues fuimos a dar una vuelta por el bosque de Salinas.
Como les he contado en otras publicaciones, donde vivimos en este momento con Fabi mi compañero, es un barrio lindero a un bosque, y podemos encontrar gran cantidad de pinos, acacias, mucha arena y en otoño/invierno una gran variedad de hongos silvestres, aunque aún quedan, son muy pocos los que se ven.
Además podrán ver que hay una zona donde crecieron Helechos, muy grandes, hermosos y vigorosos, muy resistentes. Estuve investigando y parecen ser "Pteridium aquilinum ó helecho común", le gustan mucho los suelos ácidos, y no me extraña entonces que crezcan tan cerca de los pinos.

As I have told you in other publications, where we live at the moment with Fabi my partner, it is a neighborhood bordering a forest, and we can find a large number of pines, acacias, a lot of sand and in autumn / winter a great variety of wild mushrooms, although there are still, there are very few that are seen.
They will also be able to see that there is an area where ferns grew, very large, beautiful and vigorous, very resistant. I have been investigating and they seem to be "Pteridium aquilinum or common fern", they like acid soils a lot, and it does not surprise me then that they grow so close to pines.
Este helecho se encuentra en todos los rincones del planeta, salvo en zonas heladas o desérticas. Crece cerca de cursos de agua y suelen llegar a medir hasta 4 metros de altura.
Tienen una gran capacidad para reproducirse por sus esporas que vuelan gracias a los vientos formando grandes colonias de helechos. Y algo muy curioso es que los animales herbívoros evitan comer esta planta pues estudios demuestran que produce cáncer de estómago, esófago y vejiga, sin dudas la naturaleza es sabia.

Este hermoso helecho también se utiliza como colorante textil, pues se fija muy bien a las telas sin necesidad de fijadores o mordientes extra. Y otro dato es que por quema se obtiene Potasa, es decir que esta planta acumula potasio. Interesante ¿no es cierto?.

Como podrán apreciar, hay acacias y pinos de diversos tamaños y variedades formando caminos que atraviesan el bosque.
En la segunda foto se aprecia un racimo de semillas masculinas de pino que contienen polen, en la primavera gracias al viento son dispersadas y allí se produce la fecundación.

Ya se nota que el musgo se está secando, ya no tiene el mismo verde, se acerca el verano y se siente mucho el calor, y más en ésta zona donde hay médanos de arena sobre pequeños arroyos subterráneos que desembocan en el Arroyo Pando ó mismo en el Río de la Plata.
Toda esta zona, incluso Salinas está edificada sobre estos médanos que cubren estos pequeños ríos subterráneos. Muchos aquí tienen pozo de agua y los hacen a unos 50/60 metros de profundidad para asegurarse de que el agua no esté contaminada y en cambio tenga muchos minerales beneficiosos para la salud.

This entire area, including Salinas, is built on these dunes that cover these small underground rivers. Many here have a water well and they do it at a depth of 50/60 meters to make sure that the water is not contaminated and instead has many minerals beneficial to health.
La caminata duró un par de horas, anduvimos bastante, procurando siempre tomar el mismo camino. También tuvimos un par de paradas para descansar, pero eso te lo cuento en el próximo post en la comunidad de Weedcash.network.

Éstos fueron uno de los pocos hongos silvestres que encontré en el camino. Los demás eran de la misma especie pero bastante más pequeños.
Según estuve investigando son de la familia de los Pycnoporus y son los encargados de descomponer la madera podrida blanda de los bosques. Hay diferentes variedades de este hongo, de acuerdo a su zona de crecimiento.
These were one of the few wild mushrooms that I found along the way. The others were of the same species but considerably smaller.
As I was investigating, they are from the Pycnoporus family and are responsible for decomposing the soft rotten wood of the forests. There are different varieties of this fungus, according to its growth zone.
Llegando a la Ruta 87 nos dimos cuenta que habíamos hecho una curva cuando avanzamos entre esos caminos ya trillados. Y no podíamos creer lo que nos desviamos, pensamos que habíamos caminado en línea recta, pero no.
Al regresar casi nos perdimos, pues fuimos en línea recta y casi terminamos en la calle Colón, paralela a la calle donde vivimos nosotros. Por suerte el mapa nos volvió a salvar de perdernos y pudimos regresar cuando detectamos el camino que habíamos tomado al principio.

Arriving at Route 87 we realized that we had made a curve when we advanced between those well-trodden roads. And we could not believe how we strayed, we thought we had walked in a straight line, but no.
When we returned we almost got lost, because we went straight ahead and almost ended up on Colón Street, parallel to the street where we live. Luckily the map saved us again from getting lost and we were able to return when we detected the path we had taken at the beginning.
