The variety and richness of the colors of the flowers of these plants is rightly compared to the most beautiful phenomena of nature. I was surprised to learn that at present there is no generally accepted system for the genus Iris. According to some sources, there are 250 known species growing in Europe, Asia, North America and North Africa.

In order to be guided in the species diversity of Iris, there is a botanical classification. Breeding and classification approach to agronomy. I still haven't figured it out. My friend, a connoisseur, she grows irises. It is a pity that due to quarantine restrictions, I haven't visited my friend for a long time

Iris blooms from May to July. The flowers live only one to five days. In an inflorescence, the flowers open from top to bottom, with 1 to 3 flowers blooming at a time. I captured this.
