Dew drops are particularly the message of nature that winter is going to start soon. There are 6 seasons in Nepal and this is according to the Hindu calendar. The current season is known as Sharad Ritu, which means Autumn. It falls in the month of Ashwin or Asoj and Kartik according to Hindu representation. It starts from the mid of September and end in mid of December in English calendar.

It was also used as a traditional medicine in China as these flowers were believed to be native from China. That's why this flower has also got another name as "China Rose".
