Today was a beautiful day for a walk , sunshine with blue skies and a lovely coolish breeze so my wife and myself decided we would take a stroll down to the flower nursery we do have a lovely flower garden but there is always room for more our main intentions today was to look at something different to brighten up the garden and put a bit more spark into it , turning up at the nursery what caught our eyes first were these lovely cute cactuses some that i had never seen before and that were not here last time we visited this nursery it was a whole interesting new batch of cactuses.
These little fellas were so cute and different some actually looked like little pumpkins never seen before the smallest looking pumpkin cactus was like about one year old and about 1 cm in diameter so cute and it cost $10 AUS and the bigger looking pumpkin cactuses they were five years old and cost $50 AUS and they don't grow more then 3 to 4 cm in diameter or height we were told so it would suit anywhere in the house or office.
As we all know cactuses are a succulent plant and are one of the easiest plants to take care and maintain and can suit to decorate the house or office in many ways on a coffee tables , window seals on dinner tables in bathrooms well they can look great anyway depending on it's size of cause.
We were like fixated on these little beauties and couldn't seem to walk away from them so it was definitely looking like a cactus day the only problem was which ones and how many do we take home so i let my wife choose...hehe ????
These were tough decision as we both love cactuses they remind me of little living aliens like in the movie the gremlins and we certainly had a lot of room for these little gremlins to be living with us , i could have easily taken them all home with me 😊
At the end my wife decided on taking six varieties of little pumpkin looking cactuses , the White Christmas Cactus and the Green Pineapple Cactus which i decided to make it one lovely early Christmas present for my wife. Happy Cactus Christmas Love ♥️
