Saludos mis amigos de la plataforma de Hive, en especial a los amantes de la Hermosa Naturaleza, les doy una vez más la bienvenida a este post, el cuál será mi nueva entrada al maravilloso concurso de Septiembre 2021 - #04 de la gran e increíble comunidad Amazing Nature, patrocinado y realizado por @adalger. ¡Así que si queréis saber más, mejor no os vayáis, ya que, en este nuevo post os hablaré sobre una hermosa planta que es muy vista en los jardines de las casas, pero algo que muy pocos saben, es que la flor y hojas de esta planta tienen tantos beneficios que sirven de mucha ayuda para nosotros los seres humanos.
Currently there are two types of plants in the world that are divided into: non-flowering plants and flowering plants. The scientific name of flowering plants is "angiosperms", which are very eye-catching because of their shapes and colors, but apart from their beauty they have a great use to decorate home gardens, some flowering plants can be used to make raw materials, natural products and homemade medicines with the ability to alleviate and remove diseases.
Actualmente existen dos tipos de plantas en todo el mundo que se dividen en: plantas sin flor y plantas con flor. Las plantas con flores tiene por nombre científico “angiospermas”, las cuales son demasiados llamativas por sus formas y colores, pero aparte de su belleza tiene un gran uso para decorar al jardín de los hogares, algunas plantas con flores pueden ser utilizadas para hacer materias primas, productos naturales y medicinas caseras con la capacidad de aliviar y quitar enfermedades.
Since we know that there are two types of plants, I will start talking about the "Ixora" which is one of the most used flowering plants for home garden decoration, so far there are 529 species of "Ixora" worldwide, the "Ixora" belongs to the family "Rubiaceae" and originates from the tropical areas of Asia, nowadays it is spread in some of the tropics of America and other parts of the world.
Ya como sabemos que existen dos tipos de plantas, empezaré a hablarles sobre la “Ixora” la cual es una de las plantas con flores más usadas para la decoración del jardín de la casa, hasta ahora en la actualidad existen 529 especies de “Ixora” en todo el mundo, la “Ixora” es perteneciente a la familia “Rubiaceae” y originaria de las zonas tropicales de Asia, actualmente se encuentra esparcida por algunos de los trópicos de América y otras partes del mundo.
Curious fact: The Ixora can withstand some types of climates, it is quite resistant to the strong heat that generates sun, but equally this plant should be kept in a climate that is always humid with a watering every 48 hours with abundant water.
Dato curioso: La Ixora puede aguantar algunos tipos de climas, es bastante resistente al fuerte calor que genera sol, pero igualmente esta planta se debe tener en un clima que siempre esté húmedo con un riego de cada 48 horas con abundante agua.
The Ixora grows forming shrubs of medium size, it has a large number of flower clusters with a spherical shape, producing clusters of up to 50 flowers in each cluster, the leaves are deep green up to 6 centimeters long and its flowers are mostly tiny with 4 petals, the colors of the flowers can vary from red, orange, pink and white, the white ones are very rare to see them in home gardens!
La Ixora crece formando arbustos de un tamaño mediano, llega a tener una gran cantidad de racimos de flores con una forma esférica, produciendo ramilletes de hasta 50 flores en cada racimo, Las hojas son color verde intenso de hasta 6 centímetros de largo y sus flores son mayormente diminutas con 4 pétalos, los colores de las flores puede variar de rojo, naranja, rosa y blanco, ¡las de color blanco son muy poco frecuentes verlas en los jardines de las casas!.
The fruit of the Ixora plant is like a round berry that can vary in color from purple to red and has two seeds inside. This small fruit is a great temptation for the bird "Coereba flaveola" (commonly known as "Reinita") as its flavor is very sweet and tasty when tasted. (I say this because I just tasted several of these small fruits and they are too rich).
El fruto de la planta de Ixora es como una baya redonda que puede variar del color morado o rojo y tiene dos semillas en su interior. Este pequeño fruto es una gran tentación para el ave “Coereba flaveola” (comúnmente conocida como “Reinita”), ya que su sabor es muy dulce y sabroso al probarlo. (Lo digo porque acabo de probar varias de estos pequeños frutos y son demasiado ricos.)
Now let's take a look at some of the amazing medicinal uses that the Ixora has to relieve or remove diseases that they usually give us:
Ahora vamos a ver algunos de los increíbles usos medicinales que tiene la Ixora para aliviar o quitar enfermedades que suelen darnos:
1) It is used to treat the sexually transmitted infectious disease known as Gonorrhea.
1) Se utiliza para tratar la enfermedad infecciosa de transmisión sexual conocida como Gonorrea.
2) Its great medicinal capacity is able to fight diarrhea. That is why "Ixora" is (antidiarrheal).
2) Su gran capacidad medicinal es capaz de combatir la diarrea. Por eso la “Ixora” es (antidiarreico)
3) Its medicinal benefits prevent the advanced growth of malignant tumor cells such as cancer. Ixora" is (anticarcinogenic).
3) Sus beneficios medicinales impiden el avanzado crecimiento de células tumorales malignas como lo es el cáncer. La “Ixora” es (anticancerígeno)
4) It has antifungal and antibacterial properties, being used to remove skin conditions such as the horrible fungus and blisters. To prepare it you must boil 1 liter of water with branches and flowers of Ixora for about 5 minutes, then let stand until it is completely at room temperature, filter the water and apply on the affected parts of the skin.
4) Tiene propiedades antimicóticas y antibacterianas, siendo utilizada para quitar afecciones en la piel como los horribles hongos y ampollas. Para prepararse se debe poner a hervir 1 Litro de agua con ramas y flores de Ixora durante unos 5 minutos, luego dejamos reposar hasta que esté totalmente a temperatura ambiente, filtramos el agua y se aplica en las partes afectadas de la piel.
