Forest bathing - My new favorite activity

Hi Hivers, how are you today?
Today I would like to introduce to you a very wonderful activity that I have learned recently, which is forest bathing. So what is forest bathing? When I first heard of this activity, I thought it was about going to the forest to take a bath, but it's not. Forest bathing originated in Japan and it is called Shinrin-Yoku. It is the act of going into the forest with the senses used. That sounds simple right? But nowadays with rapid urbanization and busy people's lives, forest bathing has become something of a luxury for many of us. I hope you can still find time to go into nature.

So what is the purpose of forest bathing? You know, the origin of man is from nature, so going into nature is going back to our nature. So forest bathing will help regenerate and develop human senses. In addition, forest bathing has many other great health benefits such as boosting the immune system, improving mental health, lowering blood pressure, enhancing mental well-being, reducing stress and developing senses Friday, intuition. I've only been doing this activity for a little over a week, and I'm already feeling a lot of benefits. Below are some photos I took when I went into the woods.

My recent job is quite busy with English summer camp for children. You know working with kids can be stressful at times. I recently made a new friend who is the owner of a coffee farm deep in the woods. And it was he who taught me about forest bathing, and I practiced it for over a week. In order not to interfere with work, I usually wake up early around 5-5:30 am, and walk into the forest. When I do that, I walk barefoot and don't wear a face mask so that my senses can fully contact and connect with nature. I wasn't used to it at first because early in the morning the thick fog made my nose uncomfortable and the uneven forest trail made my feet a little sore. But a few days later, things got better. Now, I feel very comfortable and enjoyable to do it. Every time I do forest bathing, all the stress in my work seems to disappear and I feel energized to start a new day. I recently invited a friend of mine to do forest bathing, and they loved it, and now I have a group to do it with me every morning. Give it a try, I believe you will soon see the benefits that I have received.
