Artifical Seed Germination.

Hey everyone, we are in the middle of frigid winter and I really want to get a nice head start to spring with my new bonsai trees and Carolina reaper chili's but how can I do that in the middle of Winter??

With an incubator of course. I normally use these to incubate eggs but this time around decided to germinate seeds, will it work?? Yes I am pretty optimistic but time will tell? I Googled the perfect germination temperature and turns out between 60-80 Fahrenheit, that's around 28 degrees.

I put a very accurate glass thermometer inside this unit to get a better idea as to the readings on the machines led. It seems as if its 2 degrees off which technically isn't the end of the world for germinating seeds. For hatching chickens which is the intended use of this incubator however it may be.

I'll post more pics as soon as they start germinating it should be very interesting indeed.
