This is a great opportunity given to us all to present a post on nature community. Nature is God's way of appreciating us all and we will in turn appreciate his kindness.
While touring yesterday searching for what to write on in this #amazingnature community, I went closed to the swamp where I found this amazing and well known plant called WATER LEAF. Water leaf can be planted both on dry land but must be watered and closed to swamp where water cannot leave at anytime.
Water leaf has a scientific name as Talinum Fruticosum. I got entices after seeing the beauty most especially the pink flower attached to the upper part of it. This caught my sight and I decided to take the photographs.
It serves as source of iron, zinc and molybdenum.
It is nutritious but must be cooked to remove the presence oxalate which can cause kidney stone. It is used in soup as source of vegetable.
It provides calcium and phosphorus to the body. The most good aspect of it is that it is good for aged women to retain longer looking body.
It is a good source of vitamin A which means it is good for sights.
Nature is a blessing from God and God has given us this good plant which can serve as edible with other great uses.
