La vida es una cosa hermosa y tiene la capacidad de hacernos felices cada día y cada momento si es nuestra decisión. Siempre les hablo y les cuento desde mi experiencia como de la cosas más pequeñas podemos hacer de nuestro día el mejor día de todos.

    Hoy les quiero contar sobre una sorpresa que me dio la naturaleza hace un mes más o menos. Recuerdo que una mañana me levanté y luego de servirme un café me senté frente a la ventana de la sala, cuando de repente vi a dos palomitas con unas ramas entre sus picos. Eso me pareció muy extraño ya que en mi ventana siempre vienen muchos pajaritos a cantar y brincar de un lado a otro.

Today I want to tell you about a surprise that nature gave me a month or so ago. I remember that one morning I woke up and after serving myself a coffee I sat in front of the living room window, when suddenly I saw two little pigeons with some branches between their beaks. That seemed very strange to me because at my window there are always lots of little birds singing and hopping about.

    Al rato los volví a ver pero en el mismo sitio y con una actitud sospechosa, la verdad esta vez mi curiosidad aumentó y me fui a ver con mucho cuidado que era lo que estaban haciendo allí ¡Si vieran mi cara de sorpresa cuando vi que estaban construyendo un hermoso nido en la esquina de mi ventana!

    Ese momento me hizo muy feliz y a todo el que entraba a mi casa le contaba que iba a ser abuela. Así pasaron los días, hice mis averiguaciones por internet y sabía que en cualquier momento iban a poner los huevos. Un día mientras recogía la ropa de la ventana, observé que la mamá se había movido, así que rápidamente mi esposo y yo miramos en el nido y mi corazón se volvió a enternecer cuando vimos los dos huevitos allí en la cesta, que por cierto, debo decir que les había quedado hermosa su casa. En ese momento aprovechamos de dejarle allí algo de comida, cambur y arroz en un plato.

After a while I saw them again but in the same place and with a suspicious attitude, the truth this time my curiosity increased and I went to see very carefully what they were doing there. If you could see my surprised face when I saw that they were building a beautiful nest in the corner of my window!

That moment made me very happy and I told everyone who came into my house that I was going to be a grandmother. So the days went by, I did my research on the internet and I knew that at any moment they were going to lay their eggs. One day while I was taking the clothes out of the window, I noticed that the mother had moved, so my husband and I quickly looked in the nest and my heart was touched again when we saw the two little eggs there in the basket, which by the way, I must say that they had made a beautiful home. At that moment we took the opportunity to leave some food in the basket, some rice and some rice on a plate.

    Transcurrieron unos 20 días desde aquel momento, cada día me gustaba ver a la mamá paloma cuidando de sus bebés; pensaba dentro de mí que la naturaleza es muy sabia y que las madres protegemos a nuestros hijos sea como sea. Por fin un día me di cuenta que ya los palomitos habían nacido y me cercioré que estuvieran bien.

About 20 days passed from that moment, every day I liked to see the mother pigeon taking care of her babies; I thought inside me that nature is very wise and that we mothers protect our children no matter what. Finally one day I realised that the baby pigeons had hatched and I made sure that they were well.

    No paso mucho tiempo cuando los vi salir de su nido e intentar volar, hasta que un día subieron a la parte más alta de la ventana y dieron el salto para no volver más.

It wasn't long before I saw them leave their nest and try to fly, until one day they climbed to the top of the window and jumped out, never to return.

Se fueron los pajaritos, pero quedó mi gatito 🐦 🐾 The birds were gone, but my kitten was left

    Ahora a falta de pajaritos me queda mi lindo gatito. Hace unos días la gata Musa de mi vecina también tuvo sus gatitos pero de dos que parió, solo le quedó uno.

Now, in the absence of birds, I am left with my cute kitten. A few days ago my neighbour's cat Musa also had her kittens but out of the two she gave birth to, she only had one left.

    Pero bueno, ahora no hay pajaritos pero me queda un gatito para querer y consentir. Por ahora no estoy decidida si me lo voy a quedar para mí o no, estoy esperando que me digan si es gato o gata, me gustaría mas que fuera macho.

Well, there are no birds now, but I have one kitten left to love and spoil. For now I'm not decided if I'm going to keep it for myself or not, I'm waiting for them to tell me if it's a cat or a female cat, I'd like it to be a male.
