I think that this is where the Ural Mountains end, and then the steppe, leaving for Kazakhstan. There she already goes to the very lake Balkhash and Almaty.
The magical beauty of these places simply captivates you from the first inspection. As soon as you come here for the first time, you will come again and again. I don't know why, but is it so? Standing at the top of this hill, where there is a large stone, you see such a beauty of amazing nature, where you see a steppe landscape with a river, and then there is space to the sky. This is what fascinates any traveler who has reached or drove by car to this place. An extraordinary place of power.
Below is the river, where a mill was located long ago in the last century. This mill was famous for the fact that its owner (merchant Khomyakov) was a very progressive innovator of that time. He brought a light, a telephone to the mill here, and he had generators to operate the turbines that he had brought from England. Now this place has become deserted, but earlier, as we understand, life was in full swing here and there was a real small civilization.
