In winter, lighthouses on small water look rather sad. When the water is frozen and not a single ship sees them, they are hopelessly bored. It is a different matter when the water in which they are located is non-freezing — the sea, the ocean. Then there is a round the clock work for them!
This particular lighthouse, by the way, does not have such work: neither in winter nor in summer. It stands on Lake Baikal, which is completely covered with ice in winter, and is rather a decoration, a tourist attraction at a recreational complex under construction near the village of Turka in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia.
