📷 View from Above

It's funny, but looking at this photo, it would be difficult for me to assume that these wonderful green fields are in the desert. But this is exactly the case - they are located in Atacama, one of the driest places on earth. In fact, you can see here that some of the fields and bushes look completely dry — probably, the owners did not take the time to water them, but they should not rely on the rains here :)

In the center of the photo is the hotel where we lived — this is the town of San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. I talked about it in this post and showed several photos taken right there. This is glamping, and we lived in a tent covered with straw, it had electricity, beds and other furniture inside — it was very convenient :) If you look closely, you will see two circles of tents, and the one surrounded by a light ring of low wall was my home for several nights.
