I love bright, colorful sunsets and sunrises, but they don't happen every day. Often the sky is gray, completely or almost completely covered by clouds, or there are none of them at all, and the sky is simply infinitely blue, except for the side where the sun sets. But there are, let's say, intermediate options, like here. The sky was cloudy enough, but there were no bright colors, the light is dim and diffused, so that a gentle, airy landscape in calm colors is obtained, as if dissolving in fog, merging with the clouds. But that's beautiful too, isn't it?
The photo shows the city of Skardu and the Indus River in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. This city is an important place for tourism in the region, as it is the gateway to the eight-thousanders of the Karakoram mountain range, and itself, surrounded on all sides by majestic mountains, is located in a valley at an altitude of about 2500 meters above sea level.
It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
