These babies are 17 days old. Soon they will start to come out of the nest and start eating on their own. But for about a month they will ask their mother for milk.
Even now they are beginning to look around and take an interest in what is happening around them.
Just 2 days ago, they were not visible because of the mother's fluff, which they were covered with. But now they have already got out and trampled the fluff under them.
Now their mass is no more than 300 grams. By 3 months, they will weigh about 3 kilograms. In 4 months, some specimens sometimes reach a mass of almost 4 and a half kilograms, but usually the mass is about 4 kilograms. And we can say that the active phase of growth stops. Then the mass increases due to fat, thickening of the skin.
But now their mother is still trying to protect their babies. It can attack the hand if it is placed in the nest. It can scratch with its claws or even bite.
The neighbor is also going to be a mom soon.
