The first line captured my attention, and I have to agree with it. Allowing discouraging words into our life wouldn't do us no good, it hinders success and make us not able to take risks that might take us to the next phase of our lives.
Again for one to achieve something meaningful in life, they have to work for it make sacrifices too. You don't sit at a place and expect manna to fall from heaven, no way. Even the Bible tells us to *work out our salvation with....... So it's imperative to work so as to reap.
Finally, to be able to work and succeed, there's need for stability - emotional, physical and health. An unstable mind or sick person cannot work out anything meaningful.
