I've been missing these!

Normally, as we begin to head into the fall season, snakes are abundant around here. For a while now, except for one baby DeKay's Brownsnake, we haven't seen many at all. Thankfully, all that changed when we found this Speckled Kingsnake near the lake while fishing. It'll also be making an appearance in an upcoming video, but it also cooperated a bit for a quick photo shoot prior to being released into our garden. This in definitely one of my favorite species of snake. Enjoy the pics.
