CONSTRUCTION SITE ACROSS THE STREET & THE SMALL APARTMENT NEAR THE MAIN SQUARE

Today, when I decided to exit the house and visit the supermarket on the edge of town, I saw an interesting construction above some old houses in my neighborhood ...

... so I spent some time photographing the thing from my yard before entering the car and driving to the store.

It took me some time to realize that this was some kind of crane that brings the cement from the truck to the place that needs to be cemented.

Here you can see the man who was assisting the automated process. Not good, not entirely, but you can see him in this paparazzi shot.

When seen through the lens of the camera, people at work are actually more interesting than posers ...

... so I continued observing and photographing ...

(Enlargeable)

... at least for half an hour or so ...

(Enlargeable)

... and, as you can see here ...

(Enlargeable)

... I took plenty of photographs.

(Enlargeable)

The crane looked like some strange, maybe even alien, SF thing above the old houses made of stone, the last ones of that kind here in my neighborhood.

These temporary yellow planks also looked pretty good.

(Enlargeable)

I think I'm gonna miss them when they remove them after the cementing of that part is done.

While the people across the street were working on the construction ...

(Enlargeable)

... and I was photographing ...

... my cats were sleeping. Here you can see the one called Tzvrchak ...

... and this is Bembo.

I took one more shot and then drove to buy some edibles.

While rambling around the supermarket in search of discounts and opportunities, I stumbled upon a friend who recently adapted an old building in the center of our hometown and is planning to rent an apartment to tourists.

(Enlargeable)

After a bit of chatting in front of the delicatessen department, I agree to visit the place and take some photographs that can be used in advertising the apartment on the Internet.

(Enlargeable)

I went there in the afternoon. It was, more or less, 4 PM.

(Enlargeable)

I like the overall atmosphere and the small shared yards in between merged buildings of the old center, around the main square.

(Enlargeable)

It's only about a hundred meters from where I live but is quite different.

(Enlargeable)

After this shot ...

(Enlargeable)

... we entered the apartment.

(Enlargeable)

I started the shooting with the bedroom.

(Enlargeable)

It was nice but small ...

(Enlargeable)

... so it wasn't easy to take a wide shot in such a tight space.

(Enlargeable)

I continued with the bathroom which was relatively large when compared with the bedroom. Here the job was considerably easier.

(Enlargeable)

Here you can see the living room ...

(Enlargeable)

... the most iconic and representative part of the little apartment for two.

(Enlargeable)

Here you can take a look at the corner with the mini kitchen.

(Enlargeable)

After this photograph, the shooting was over. We had a drink in the bar on the main square, and then I returned home to organize the pictures and write this post.

AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.
