Living in SA means constantly needing to deal with power cuts. The para-statal company Eskom, has been struggling for years to provide enough power for the grid.
Even though there is a schedule with levels, the implimentation of this schedule is often done at short notice.
This evening was one of those evenings where the power went out with very little notice. Luckily I had some left over charcoal from Aime birthday and so I made a plan.
By stark lamplight the family got together to have supper outside as it was still a very hot evening.
We made a potato salad and had some pork chops on the
All things considered the family makes the best of any sort of problem and we had a pretty good evening.
