It's that time of the week when we talk about what happened on Talk Time with Tengo.

This was episode 20 and the season final that occurred on May 23rd?

We had finished 19 with a chat about NFTs and @stesskiller had wanted to know about NFTs and how and where he could mint them as he is always on the look out for places to sell his photography. He does make some crackers of macro photographs so I could see why he wants to sell them, especially when he is on the hunt for a new camera!

I decided that this weeks show would be about NFTs and especially on NFTs on Hive and WAX.

We had invited @l337m45732 who was one of our first guests here at Talk Time with Tengo and I was hoping he would be free to pop back and talk about WAX and GM:FRENS and his latest NFT which was minted on nft showroom!

That was the plan and he was all for it, until rain and traffic put paid to that!

Plan B sprang into action and the wonderfully talented musician @ravenmus1c ever so kindly gave us a wonderful rundown on WAX and minting your NFTs on WAX.

It is another blockchain created for NFTs, I know many us play games on there. Indeed @mypathtofire @hoosie and I all play The Realm a trading card game on WAX. The trading cards yes they are examples of NFTs. Currently it is season 8 and hoosie and I are having our little competition, but he is nudging ahead!

If you think of WAX being similar to Hive, you have front ends such as Atomic Hub and Nefty Blocks where you can create and mint your NFTs. It really comes down to your personal choice as which front end to use.

WAX can be bought on the the hive-engine and easily withdrawn to the WAX chain and you can send WAX easily to your Hive-Engine , you can even send cards to Splinterlands!

Talking of Hive, you can mint NFTs on nftshowroom, however, the volume is very low at the moment, do you use it? I notice that @nftshowroom have their own discord server too!

@shadowspub has just minted some NFTs there, including some cool AI generated art using MidJourney and explained how she went about it. Some of her latest NFTs can be found in My Wall Art Added to NFT Showroom

It is pretty fascinating the whole process of NFT creation and minting to give their unique identifier!

@ravenmus1c did explain that WAX has more features and is cheaper with a larger audience and that is the reason she mints there!

We did discuss some scams and one to be wary of, people are being contacted on Instagram / facebook by buyers wanting to buy your artwork but as NFTs. They then send you a link to their NFT marketplace where you are charged feed to create the NFTs, but of course will they buy them? The fluff they will, so please do be wary of these things @artywink
