Walkthrough and review of Ecency Desktop and iOS application.

In the past few months, my go-to interface for Hive has been https://ecency.com/. I still use https://peakd.com/ and https://leofinance.io/ a lot because each gives me something different that helps with the specific task I want to perform at the time.

However, @ecency is now my main go-to because they have an iOS application, and apps are always easier to work with in our daily lives. I am someone who constantly uses my phone, and 70% of the time on Hive is through my phone. So, I thought, why not make a review and a walkthrough about my user experience of @ecency ?

On the left-hand side of the browser, you can always see tags that are being used for posts, like #, which helps you find posts with your preferred tags. In the middle, you can choose what pool of posts you want to see:

Friends: posts and re-blogs of anyone you are following.

Trending: posts with the highest upvote value in the last 48 hours, I think.

Hot: I think the Hot section contains newer posts with high upvote values.

New: Here, you can see the newest posts.

Rising: In here, you can choose a time period for posts to be shown, and maybe the highest upvote value posts are shown first, but I'm not sure.

Controversial: In that tab, you can find downvoted posts.

I mainly use the Friends and Trending tab.

In the right bottom, you can see some of the top communities.

n the upper right, there are links to FAQ, terms of service, privacy policy, and the market.

By clicking the market, you can trade #HIVE and #HBD.

By clicking market price, it reveals the prices of #HIVE, #HBD, #HBD, and #ETH.

In the top left section is the Discover/Communities tab.

By clicking on communities, all Hive communities appear, and you can join the ones you are interested in.

In the Discover tab, you can find the most active users by Ecency points earned, curators by the most HP earned, and most popular users, but while there is a daily ranking, it's not something you can rely on.

On the top right, you can find the wallet, notification, boost, and dashboard sections.

By clicking on the wallet tab, you can manage the different tokens on Hive.
First, there's the Ecency points balance and the ways to earn more.

Second, the Hive wallet with the HP amount, Liquid Hive, HBD balance, and savings.

Third, the Hive Engine tokens wallet, where you can manage them.

Fourth, the SPK network tokens wallet.

For the iOS app, I find it really good, very similar to the desktop version, where you can do almost everything you can do on the desktop. The only drawback is that it crashes a lot in the past two months, and I hope the @ecency team resolves it!

I find @ecency the most user-friendly Hive Interface for newbies to navigate in Hive, and I really like its UI. The iOS and Android apps are a big plus. So i would definitely suggest it to someone new and experienced Hive user who want to simply post , explore and do simple transaction on hive!
