Hi all, awesome Silvery Bloggers! A couple of days ago we announced [the winners of our July #BOM edition](https://peakd.com/hive-106316/@hive-106316/blog-of-the-month-july-winners-hive-106316), if you haven't read the winning entries and if you missed some of the amazing posts, we encourage you to go back and read them. If you want to continue to support the authors, you can leave a tip. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this facility.) But we want to keep our Silver Bloggers active and writing in the community. And we know it's sometimes hard to decide what to write about. Writer's block is one thing, so we're going to suggest a new [writing prompt](https://freelance-writing.lovetoknow.com/writing-prompts/what-is-writing-prompt). ## Silver Prompt 3: Scents memories The sense of smell could be a better memory trigger than other senses, such as sight. *[Source](https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-do-smells-trigger-memories1/)*. It is common sometimes to perceive a smell or a scent that takes us back to a place in the past. That sometimes reminds us about an experience or a person. Smells and scents often are triggers of memories from our childhood and youth. So...why don't you tell us about your scent memories? What scents bring back memories to you? What scents do you remember most from your childhood and youth?
