Como lo dije la navidad la época mas hermosa del año, donde podemos compartir disfrutar hermosos momentos en familia y con amigos, donde el mejor regalo que podemos tener es vida y salud para nosotros y amor para nuestra familia. Como también es tiempo de reflexionar perdonar y sanar viejas heridas que en nada contribuyen a nuestro bienestar emocional.
As I said Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year, where we can share beautiful moments with family and friends, where the best gift we can have is life and health for us and love for our family. It is also a time to reflect, forgive and heal old wounds that do not contribute to our emotional well being.
Decoración de casa y árbol de Navidad // Home and Christmas tree decorating
Me encanta decorar la casa verla llena todas de luces de colores, bajar los adornos del closet. En casa nos caracterizamos por decorar diversos juegos de nacimientos que tenemos le colocamos un lindo mantel con luces de colores que lo acompañan. Antes teníamos arbolito pero con el tiempo se deterioro y la situación económica de Venezuela no ha permitido que lo repongamos, es por ello que nos dedicamos a decorar la casa con nacimientos.
I love to decorate the house to see it full of colored lights, lower the decorations in the closet. At home we are known for decorating different sets of nativity sets that we have, we put a nice tablecloth with colored lights to go with it. We used to have a tree but with time it deteriorated and the economic situation in Venezuela has not allowed us to replace it, that is why we are dedicated to decorate the house with nativity scenes.
Gaitas y aguinaldos // Gaitas and aguinaldos
Me inclino por las gaitas son alegres bailables, te contagian su ritmo y su energía, imposible resistirse a bailar una buena gaita.
I prefer the gaitas, they are joyful and danceable, their rhythm and energy are contagious, it is impossible to resist dancing a good gaita.
Venezuela es la excelencia en gaitas. Mis grupo favoritos son Maracaibo 15 en cuanto a gaitas y un grupo que sus inicios fueron como gaitas pero con el pasar de los años dejaron de lado las gaitas para tocar y cantar ritmo GUACO, el cual escuchamos los 365 dias del años; y en diciembre escucho las gaitas del grupo guaco de sus comienzos, nunca pasan de moda son un verdadero clásico.
Venezuela is the excellence in gaitas. My favorite groups are Maracaibo 15 in terms of gaitas and a group that began as gaitas but over the years they left the gaitas aside to play and sing GUACO rhythm, which we listen to 365 days a year; and in December I listen to the gaitas of the guaco group from their beginnings, they never go out of style, they are a true classic.
Cenar en Familia // Dining with the family
La cena en familia tradición navideña, compartimos diversos platos de la época, hallacas, pernil, ensalada pan de jamón dulce de lechoza torta negra, ya quiero que sea navidad para dar gracias a Dios por tener conmigo a mis padres mi hermano cuñada y sobrinas.
The family dinner is a Christmas tradition, we share various dishes of the season, hallacas, pernil, salad, ham bread, lechoza cake, black cake, I already want it to be Christmas to thank God for having my parents, my brother, sister-in-law and nieces with me.
