I haven't witten here for quite a while. Was I too busy to write? Busy with what? Partially, I was busy in my school work. The preparation, lesson delivery, etc...
Another reason that I haven't been active in writing lately, is I got hooked in the mobile game, Mobile Legends. Although I started to play less in the past few days.
The question is, are these really the reasons why I have not written as frequent as before? Partially, yes. But I think the main reason is, I lost my motivation to write!
Why?
That's the question. Why? I have wanted to write at least 30 articles a month. Or that's at least one article per day! But why I wasn't able to do it? I had the chance to write every morning!
I wake up before five in the morning. But what do I do? I stay in bed until six.
Why am I not motivated to write anymore?
Is it because of the low earnings?
I used to earn at least $150 a month in readcash. There was a time that each article would earn at least $3. If I remember it right, one of my articles earned about $23 (or may be more).
Lately though, I can hardly write an article a day. How then can I expect to earn at least a dollar a day?
In Hive, at least one of my articles earn at least $40 worth of tips. However, if I understand the system correctly, only 25% of that amount (about $10) will go directly to my wallet.
So far, some of my articles in hive would earn more than $10 but there are some that got zero tip as well.
Should I Continue Writing?
To answer that, I must keep in mind the main reasons why I write.
- I love to write. Writing has become one of my passion, second to drawing or digital illustration.
- I want to earn from my writing. I admit, I am having some difficulties in doing this.
What Should I do?
I am still not sure how, but if I want to earn from writing again, I have to find some ways to motivate myself to write as often as I could again. I guess I can start by participating in the challenges in various communities
