Hello friends, there's this pleasure that comes with it being weekend. You recover from the week's tension.
I really didn't realize that there's a celebration dubbed Pancake Day. Whether it's a celebration of just a day where people gather to consume pancakes, I believe it's worth believing.
Pancakes are one of my favorite treats. I rarely make them because of the expense of products over here. A cup of flour that cost (#50-$0.11) now worth around #200 ($0.50) that is about ×5 of the previous price. Just picture how the expense of other ingredients will be.
- Floor
- Sugar
- Baking powder (optional)
- Milk
- Butter
- Egg
- Flavors - vanilla, strawberry (optional)
[All ingredients depends on the proportion of what you want to produce]
In a basin mix the floor, sugar, baking flour together.
In a different bowl mix the egg, milk and butter together.
Add the liquid ingredients (combination of egg, milk and butter ) to the dry ingredients and mix.
Put your Frying Pan on fire and add a little oil( I prefer mine without much oil).Leave enough space between each pancake to enable for space.
Flip the pancakes with a spatula, and heat for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the other side is golden brown.
Remove the pancakes from the frying pan , and continue the procedure with the remaining mixture, adding more butter or oil to the pan as required to prevent sticking.
Your Pancakes are ready, and can be presented with a cool drink.
I don't really have any special day where we consume special food, except it's wedding celebration where they prepare my local meal.
