Some time ago, I was leading a project with about hmmm 200+ people involved. It was an incredible honor to be with those hearts. They brought energy and love and dedication. It was my absolute joy to shower them with fun, tokens, and my energy. There were times when people had criticized gently - that maybe I was giving away TOO much. hehe Funny how things turn out - because that entire wallet ended up hacked. So, all that was given away actually made an impact. All that I held - ended up in the hacker's wallet.

We don't know what will happen - BUT we DO know that generosity breeds generosity. We also know that generosity changes lives.

I distinctly remember one of the people in the project telling me that he "couldn't wait until he had more in his wallet, so that he could be as generous as me."

I paused and took a moment to correct him. Generosity isn't based on the size of your wallet, but the willingness of your heart. If you want to give, then you should start now. Why wait?

I didn't think that he would actually start now. He told me "Thanks, I would take this into consideration." But how many people say this - and never act?

Within 5 minutes, he had given a HUGE amount to his peers. Just dispersed without even hesitating! It was really a beautiful thing to witness. The example and the lesson - so closely connected in time. It was a moment that I treasure!
