Can you believe it? Another challenge has come and gone... Another month has come and gone! Yes, we're heading for the month of June already and that also means a new challenge.
But before we get to the next fun-filled and exciting challenge, we will first enjoy a week of rest!
Let's Take a Break...!
Here at DreemPort, we are conscious of the time you spend online and we realize the importance of spending time with your family and loved ones too! We believe that spending quality time with them is crucial.
We also believe that everybody needs rest so that they don't get overworked. That is why we believe in taking the weekends off.
Getting that much-needed rest will keep you motivated and excited to come back on Monday and start working on a new topic...or even a new challenge! It is also a way to protect our staff here at DreemPort and keep their morals high.
We aim to create a space where EVERYBODY can have fun and give expression to their creativity. It shouldn't become a burden and/or start feeling like "work"!
To ensure this, we take it even one step further...
Time of Rest Can Give You an Opportunity to Improve and Build!
We spend 3 weeks on each challenge/collaboration that we work on and then take one full week off. We feel this is important in order to keep those "creative juices" flowing without getting exhausted.
It gives you the opportunity to reflect on what you have written over the past three weeks. It also gives you the opportunity to absorb what you have read from other contributors.
How often have you done your research on a new topic and written a wonderful post about what you have learned? But when do you get the opportunity to reflect on what you have learned and actually learn how to apply it in your own life?
This is a personal opinion...but in my opinion, I believe what makes a difference between knowledge and wisdom is:
It is one thing to have a lot of knowledge. And that is good. It is also great to be able to share your knowledge.
But when you are able to apply that knowledge in your own life, it becomes wisdom. It enables you to lead by example!
During the one-week break, we also have the opportunity to interact with the new friends we made during the last challenge. Now we can build and maintain those all-important friendships. We can talk about what we have learned, some interesting facts we have read, or just have fun by interacting with our new-made friends.
This coming week is our week of rest before we have a new challenge coming up in June!
So, be sure to get some rest and get ready for the new challenge which will be announced next Sunday!
