Hello Ladies of Hive Community! It's good to be back and this time, I wanna share with you the heritage place that will never be remove in the bucket lists of every Filipinos. Introducing, Intramuros Heritage Site! 🏟🏛
My partner and I have only been a couple for a few months when he invited me to visit this Heritage site which is very close to our residential area. As a Filipina, it's thrilling when your soulmate invites you to visit this place because the place is so romantic and at the same time, you will feel like you will travel back in the past.
Mi pareja y yo llevábamos apenas unos meses de pareja cuando me invitó a visitar este sitio Patrimonial que está muy cerca de nuestra zona residencial. Como filipina, es emocionante cuando tu alma gemela te invita a visitar este lugar porque es muy romántico y, al mismo tiempo, sentirás que estás viajando al pasado.
Intramuros is also known as the Walled City because of the fortifications that were built during the Spanish Colonization in the Philippines. Up to this day it is interesting to observe because the Baluartes and walls remain standing in this area for centuries.
Intramuros también es conocida como la Ciudad Amurallada debido a las fortificaciones que se construyeron durante la colonización española en Filipinas. Hasta el día de hoy es interesante observarlo porque en esta zona permanecen en pie los Baluartes y las murallas desde hace siglos.
I was also very lucky when we passed by the most famous Manila Cathedral in the Intramuros area. Actually, many people are dreaming to get married in this huge church because of the beauty of the structure and at the same time of its grandeur and rich history. Some prestigious actresses and actors also got married here and if you ask how much it costs just to get married in this beautiful church, you'll just close your eyes because of its expensive price.
También tuve mucha suerte cuando pasamos por la catedral más famosa de Manila en la zona de Intramuros. En realidad, muchas personas sueñan con casarse en esta enorme iglesia debido a la belleza de la estructura y al mismo tiempo a su grandeza y rica historia. Aquí también se casaron algunas actrices y actores de prestigio y si preguntas cuánto cuesta simplemente casarse en esta hermosa iglesia, cerrarás los ojos por su elevado precio.
They also have different botanical gardens here, but because we didn't understand the weather at that time, we only visited a limited number of gardens in Intramuros. What's more surprising because some of the Forts of Intramuros can be visited for free by people, whether locals or tourists. That is the reason why Intramuros is not missing from the bucket lists that people should visit when they come here to Manila.
También tienen diferentes jardines botánicos aquí, pero como no entendíamos el clima en ese momento, solo visitamos un número limitado de jardines en Intramuros. Lo que es más sorprendente es que algunos de los fuertes de Intramuros pueden ser visitados de forma gratuita por personas, ya sean locales o turistas. Esa es la razón por la que Intramuros no falta en las listas de cosas que la gente debería visitar cuando viene aquí a Manila.
