Hola queridas amigas de hive!!! Me encuentro otras vez con ustedes compartiendo este espacio tan grato para mí. Esta vez para participar en el concurso #46 de @ladiesofhive con la pregunta:
¿Cuáles son sus tres olores favoritos?
Voy a contestar esta pregunta cocentrandome en la cocina, dejando claro que uno de los placeres de mi vida es la comida, sobre todo la comida navideña.
Está tradición familiar que desde pequeñita recuerdo es la hechura de las hallacas, siempre las hacíamos en familia, mi mamá era la capitana y todos nosotros sus hijos los ayudantes. Todo el proceso era espectacular y el olor es inolvidable, la limpieza de las hojas de platano para envolverlas, la preparación del guiso, de los vegetales, el aliño y la preparacion de la masa y finalmente armarlas, que eso le correspondía a mi madre y ella no permitía que nadie más metiera la mano al guiso. Amarrar las hallacas y por último la cocinarlas en la leña ese sabor de esas hallacas y ese olor es inolvidable.

Otro de los olores característicos de la navidad y demasiado delicioso, es el pernil de cochino relleno de uvas pasas, alcaparras, aceitunas, pimentón y una salsa muy especial, sal y bañado por fuera de la misma salsa que va directo para el horno.
Y como tercer olor característico está, el delicioso aroma del pan de harina de trigo con la levadura y relleno de jamón.
Muchos otros olores me encantan como el olor del desinfectante de manzana y canela, el olor a lavanda, manzana verde, siempre fueron mis favoritos a la hora de seleccionar un aromatizante para la casa. El olor de la loción Jean Naté. El olor del café y las galletas de la merienda. La colonia mennen que me recuerda a mis hijas cuando eran niñas.

I'm going to answer this question by focusing on the kitchen, making it clear that one of the pleasures of my life is food, especially Christmas food.
This family tradition that I remember since I was a little girl is the making of the hallacas, we always made them as a family, my mom was the captain and all of us, her children, were the helpers. The whole process was spectacular and the smell is unforgettable, the cleaning of the banana leaves to wrap them, the preparation of the stew, the vegetables, the seasoning and the preparation of the dough and finally to assemble them, that was my mother's job and she did not allow anyone else to put their hand in the stew.
