Lo que más me apasiona... / What I am most passionate about...
Lo que más me apasiona en la vida... esta pregunta me hizo pensar, incluso por un rato quedé sin respuesta. Pensé en las cosas en las que más me he esforzado: Estudiar, en mi época de estudiante; hubo un tiempo en que el trabajo fue mi pasión; mi familia, es mi mayor motivación...
A fin de cuentas pensé, que lo que más me apasiona, es la vida misma. La variedad de opciones que tenemos disponibles en esta historia que es nuestra existencia, nos mantiene ocupados. En lo particular, durante mucho tiempo he intentado entender el sentido de todo, hasta que me rendí y me dediqué sólo a vivir, sin cuestionamientos y sin tratar de tener el detalle de todo.
What I am most passionate about in life... this question made me think, even for a while I was left without an answer. I thought about the things I have worked hardest at: Studying, when I was a student; there was a time when work was my passion; my family is my greatest motivation....
At the end of the day, I thought, what I am most passionate about is life itself. The variety of options available to us in this story that is our existence keeps us busy. In particular, for a long time I tried to understand the meaning of everything, until I gave up and dedicated myself only to live, without questioning and without trying to have the detail of everything.
Amo la vida, con todos sus desafíos. Me encanta disfrutar cada victoria, por muy pequeña que sea. Todas las maniobras que hay que hacer para avanzar, hacen que nuestras metas alcanzadas sean valiosas.
Me apasiona el reto de superarme a mí misma, no tengo que competir con nadie, no me importa si alguien es mucho mejor, porque somos personas diferentes y cada una debe recorrer su propio camino y ser su propio patrón.
La vida nos mantiene activos y ocupados, cuando vamos por nuestros sueños. Es hermoso tener ilusiones y propósitos que conseguir.
I love life, with all its challenges. I love to enjoy every victory, no matter how small. All the maneuvers that have to be done to move forward, make our achieved goals valuable.
I am passionate about the challenge of surpassing myself, I don't have to compete with anyone, I don't care if someone else is much better, because we are different people and each one must walk her own path and be her own boss.
Life keeps us active and busy, when we go for our dreams. It is beautiful to have illusions and purposes to achieve.
Mi fiesta favorita del año... / My favorite party of the year...
En cuanto a mi fiesta favorita del año, sin duda es la Navidad. Desde que llega noviembre ya se siente en el ambiente el espíritu de la Navidad, todos están pendientes de arreglar sus casas, de decorarlas, de compartir con familiares y amigos. Se siente en el ambiente una alegría especial.
Reunirnos en familia para hacer hallacas, compartir esa deliciosa cena navideña, ver a mis hijos felices por sus regalos... cada detalle queda grabado en mi memoria.
Celebrar el nacimiento de Dios hecho hombre, sin duda es un evento memorable.
As for my favorite holiday of the year, it is undoubtedly Christmas. Since November arrives, you can already feel the Christmas spirit in the air, everyone is busy arranging their houses, decorating them, sharing with family and friends. There is a special joy in the atmosphere.

Cada año nos reunimos para celebrar esa ocasión en casa de mi suegra, ya que el resto de mi familia está fuera del país.
Es una oportunidad excelente para estrechar lazos, normalmente hacemos un intercambio de algún detalle, una vez lo hicimos de chucherías y al entregarlo, aprovechamos de decir lo que apreciamos de esa persona que nos tocó.
Desde hace algún tiempo, intento no perderme ningún momento, estar tan presente como puedo, para disfrutar de toda esa dicha que desborda en esos días.

Disfruto estar aquí, sabiendo que existo y que tengo tanto por hacer.

At the end of the day, being able to do what we are most passionate about in life, as well as being able to share moments of celebration with our loved ones, is a great blessing.
The fact of being alive, of being able to write our story, means that we have the opportunity to continue evolving as human beings, to continue learning, while enjoying the journey.
I enjoy being here, knowing that I exist and that I have so much to do.
