First : Statistically, women tend to be more spiritual than men. From whatever faith. " Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan, or other ". How did it become your faith? What delights, insights, and joys have you discovered?
Second : Do you believe in angels and demons, or even experienced them? What would be your ideal guardian angel, or demon?
From the two clue above. I took the title "Are demons and angels real?"
I will share with you about demons and angels according to the religion and spirituality that I hold, namely Muslims. Are demons and angels real?
I have no intention of disturbing other religions. I just want to tell and share my experience about how belief in Muslims is. For me "Protestant, Catholic, Buddhist, Wiccan and other religions" are our friends too. Do you agree with me?
Me and my Muslim friends, really believe that demons and angels are real. They were created by God for a specific purpose. I have a reason why my friends and I strongly believe in the existence of demons and angels. Here's the explanation:
- Demons.
In Islam, the devil is an evil creature who likes to tempt and mislead humans. In the Qur'an is written Surah Al-An'am verse 112:
وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيٰطِيۡنَ الۡاِنۡسِ وَالۡجِنِّ يُوۡحِىۡ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اِلٰى بَعۡضٍ زُخۡرُفَ الۡقَوۡلِ غُرُوۡرًا ؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوۡهُ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ
Wa kazaalika ja'alnaa likulli nabiyyin 'aduwwan Shayaatiinal insi waljinni yuuhii ba'duhum ilaa ba'din zukhrufal qawli ghuruuraa; wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka maa fa'aluuhu fazarhum wa maa yaftaruun.
In English : And thus for every prophet We made enemies consisting of demons and the human jinn, some of them whispering beautiful words to others as a deception. And if your Lord wills, they will not do so, so let them with what (lies) they make.
Source of quote
Meaning : The devil is an enemy to humans and prophets of Allah. The demons love to mislead humans with big lies. If God does not will, then humans will not be deceived. Then let the devil do his work. Humans will not be deceived and tempted if humans have strong faith or belief in God.
People who are invincible by demons are people whose hearts are always connected to God.
- Angels
Angels are creatures of God created from light. Not like a demon created from fire. Angels have their respective duties such as delivering sustenance, recording human good and bad deeds, guarding the gates of heaven and hell, and there are angels assigned by God to judge humans after humans die, humans will be judged when they are in the realm of death.
In the Qur'an there are verses that explain the existence of angels and their duties, such as:
QS. Al-Ra'd verse 11:
لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوٓءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ
Lahụ mu'aqqibātum mim baini yadaihi wa min khalfihī yaḥfaẓụnahụ min amrillāh, innallāha lā yugayyiru mā biqaumin ḥattā yugayyirụ mā bi'anfusihim, wa iżā arādallāhu biqaumin sū`an fa lā maradda lah, wa mā lahum min dụnihī miw wāl.
In English : For humans there are angels who always follow him in turn, in front of and behind him, they guard him by Allah's command. Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And if Allah wills evil for a people, then no one can refuse it; and there is no protector for them but Him.

Meaning : In every human being, there are angels who always follow him wherever we go, they are angels who are in charge of recording our good and bad deeds. When we do good, the angels will record it, when we sin, the angels will also record it, everything we have done, will be accounted for on the day of judgment. We cannot avoid and hide, because it is all God's will, and God will not change it.
