I had this painting for a while now. It was one of the first pieces I purchased sometime ago. I bought it because I wanted to look at it and figure out how I felt about it.
Is she a model? An aging model? Or someone who used to be very pretty and sought after? Her hair... with vines... why?
Maybe not. She is running away. She has to fight her way out of it that her hair and hair accessory got so unraveled. Is she a victim of an abuse?
Perhaps she is a crazy woman... or pretends to be. And she roams the streets... will there be someone who would have compassion on her?
Well, up to now I could not place my feelings. I don't know what to make of this painting

The artist of the work below wanted to depict fear.
I would say that the girl in the painting is in deep thought. She strikes me like she is seriously thinking about her life... what would she do next. Perhaps she is even praying.
She knows the difficulties that lie ahead. The thought of sadness having to face it alone makes her cry blood. She asks the heavens for strength.
